Are you an individual with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills who is looking to forge a long-term career in tech support and want to do this whilst on contractor rates? If so, this could well be the ideal role for you! A prestigious financial institution in the City, are looking for an 1st-line Helpdesk Support Analyst. You must have a real hunger to learn and progress technically. Although the role won't be overtly technical to begin with, you must have previous experience of supporting printers, MS Office, Windows XP and in particular, logging calls with Heat. This role would suit a former admin asst/Secretary at the start of their IT career (9 months IT experience) or a recent graduate with at least 12 months commercial tech support experience. Previous experience gained within a professional services environment ie banking/finance, insurance, legal, accountancy, management consultancy, etc would be a distinct advantage.
